"Please don't poop on your ball!".

Earlier this week something not out of the ordinary happened and then something wonderful occurred to me. Something so profound that I thought about it all the way home and into the following day. And now I am blogging about it.

Procrastination and the Research Student

There is nothing quite like the feeling of being a postgraduate research student. Of course coursework assignment deadlines and exams bring with them their own distinctive form of panic driven anxiety that robs you of your social life and much needed sleep. But this is usually short-term. The experience of a research student is unique; it is a faint yet constant pressure that gradually eats away the soul.
